Building your medicine cabinet

Many people are unsure where to start when building their medicine cabinet. There are so many great oils out there, where do you begin?

I recommend starting your journey with the Everyday Oil Kit. This kit is very versatile and gives you a nice base to start using right away.

But where do you go after that?

Some of this will depend on if you or your family have any specific ailments that you want to treat with oils. Many women will start with Progessence Plus to help balance out their hormones.

This may also depend on the time of year. Cold/flu season will suggest different oils than the summer time which is filled with lots of sun, bugs, and allergies!

So after you've asked these questions, here are some great oils to start with as you rebuild your medicine cabinet:

Bites/Stings
Purification, Lavender, Copaiba

Burns/Sunburns
Lavender or Lavederm spray

Cold/Flu
R.C., Raven, Peppermint, Thieves, Peppermint, Eucalyptus

Cuts/Scrapes
Lavender or Geranium

Eczema/Skin Rashes
Lavender, Cedarwood, Bergamot

Fever Reduction
Peppermint

Headache/Migraine Relief
Peppermint, M-Grain, Deep Relief or PanAway

Heart Burn/Indigestion
Peppermint, Lemon

Insect Repellant
Palo Santo, Peppermint, Cedarwood, or Purification

Menstrual Cramps/PMS
Dragon Time, Lady Sclereol, Frankincense, Clary Sage

Muscle/Joint Pains
PanAway, Peppermint, Deep Relief, Copaiba, Wintergreen

Natural Sleep Aid/Stress Relief
RutaVala, SleepEssence, Peace & Calming, Valor, Lavender

Nausea/Diarrhea
Di-Gize, Peppermint, Ginger

Sinus/Allergy
R.C., Raven, Thieves, Peppermint, Frankincense, Harmony and Valor (used in combination: Harmony on sternum and valor on the bottom of the feet)

Sore Throat
Thieves Lozenges, Thieves Mouthwash, Thieves Spray, Lemon, Peppermint

Hopefully this will give you a good start! I started by picking the oils that showed up on several lists and then going from there! This isn't a comprehensive list by far, but only meant to give you an overview of several different great oils! There are also some great kits that have several of these oils.
